Bush and Rush Limbaugh, whom he challenged to run for president in 2012.  ..  Perlmutter was named Democrat of the year, former Senate Majority Leader Ken Gordon was given a lifetime achievement award and state Rep. Mark Ferrandino, D-Denver, was selected as the party's rising star.
